*One Bad Otter*
ONE BAD OTTER is a original rock band from New Jersey.
The band has been playing music together since 1996. They
have played all over the Tri-state area playing their unique
style of cover tunes and also their original songs.
One Bad Otter is Jim Rilko on drums, Rob Duffy on bass
guitar and backing vocals, Joe Gumienny on lead guitar and
vocals, and Tim Zusin on rhythm guitar and lead vocals.
After a while, the cover tunes started to go away and the
original material started to emerge. So the band went into the
studio in early 2004, and began to record their debut album
Otter Than You.
In 2005, Joe Gumienny left the band, and went on to pursue
his own project. He will be missed, and we wish him the best.
And who knows maybe this otter will come back and continue to
make music with us. The door is always open, and who knows
stranger things have happened.
Tim, Rob, and Jimmy are still together writing songs, recording
and working with various guitar players to keep the music going.
Which has always been the goal of the band to keep the music
first and foremost.
In 2006, the original Otter lineup Tim, Rob,Jimmy and Joe,
Played a benefit show @ Big John's Pub, to benefit kids at
Christmas. The night was a real success. The band fell right
back into the groove it always had. There was something very
magical that night. The bond these guys have for each other,
had brought them full circle.
Early in 2007, the guys are back and making progress. Tim,
Rob, Jimmy and Joe are working on new material and finishing
up some stuff they already have recorded.
